Enter the tax and shipping information for your company. Tax rate will be whatever the sales tax charge is in your state. Base shipping cost is what will be the minimum charge for shipping an item. Maximum shipping cost is the most the shipping can cost. The available shipping cost calculations types are:
  • UPS - calculated using UPS's shipping formula. This is most accurate, and we recommend you use this.
  • # of items - a shipping factor you specify will be multiplied by the number of items the customer ordered and then added to the base cost. For example, if you enter a shipping factor of 1 dollar (1.00) and a base cost of $5.00, then it will cost $5.00 to ship 1 item, $6.00 to ship 2, $7.00 to ship 3, and so on.
  • % of order total - a shipping factor you specify will be multiplied by the total cost of the order and then added to the base cost. For example, if the customer orders $50.00 worth of merchandise, you enter a shipping factor of .05 (5%) and a base cost of 5.00, then it will cost $7.50 to ship the order.
  • Per product - you will enter a shipping cost for each item, and they will all be added together along with the base cost to calculate the total shipping cost.
  • Base shipping costs - you will always charge *only* the base shipping cost.

    Please enter dollar amounts in the form 3.00 (instead of $3.00) and percentages in the form .0675 (instead of 6.75%).
